I am only a freshman but i have been researching the classes i need to take for high school. They seem really hard, and I am pretty smart but not like extremely intelligent. I don’t want to take really hard classes and then not qualify for becoming a veterinarian so should I start thinking of another career or should I take the hard classes anyway?

Renna asked:

I would like to become a Veterinarian, and would like to know what kind of things are ideal to achieve this. I have been enrolled in FFA (this is the only courses where animals are involved) for two years, and I still have two years to go in High School. I plan on taking four years of Math and Science, but only three years are needed. My grades are not bad, but I do have a 76 under math on my transcript.

In particular, what kind of grades would be ideal to be a Veterinarian?

Other information is welcomed, thanks.

Hi! I am currently taking the Veterinary Assistant course through Penn Foster. I was wondering if a hiring veterinarian would look at that as a certifiable program and consider it as credible education or not since it is distance learning? If any Veterinarians could let me know as well that would be fantastic!! Thanks so much!
