Are they respected as much as human doctors are (are they considered doctors?) What is the average begining salary? Would you do this job if given the opportunity? how long is schooling? i get a’s, b’s and c’s in school so can i get into Vet school with those grades (im trying my junior yr. to get all A’s).

How do I pick a vets to neuter my rabbits?

I’ve just got two dwarf bunnies
They are still young, 8 weeks to be exact.
But I was talking to vets about getting them done when they are older.
The vets in my area don’t seem to have my practice with Rabbits - one said “why would you want to do that?”
The other said $100 for each boy, but they don’t do females because they are too trickey :S
Should I be a tad worried?
I’m in NZ. I suspect it would be a bit easier if I lived in America, but NZ is a bit smaller..

What kind of food ( wet & dry ) do you feed your cat? I tried giving my cat science diet wet, she absolutely refused! She will eat the dry, though. I just want to feed her good quality food. Thanks!

What do physicians think of veterinarians?

Is there a hierarchy among medical professions? Do surgeons look down upon physicians, or do physicians look down upon ER doctors, or do any of them look down upon veterinarians?
I hope not. I love animals, and vets have a special place in my heart.
